Gait Plates

Design: This device has two designs: the out-toe gait plate features an extension of the shell, to the sulcus, on the lateral distal edge, with the 1st and 2nd mets cut short. The in-toe gait plate features a long-ground shell, to the sulcus, on the 1st and 2nd mets and is cut short on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th mets.

Patient Selection: In-toeing gait abnormalities (out-toe gait plate); out-toeing gait abnormalities (in-toe gait plate).

Versatility: All pediatric patient devices qualify for our Child Outgrowth Program, which entitles children under 13 to a second pair of orthotics, free of charge, within eighteen months of the first pair.

Posting: Depending on diagnosis, we recommend adding extrinsic rearfoot posting to devices to maximize control.
